As a Principal EIA Consultant, your role will involve coordinating environmental inputs for major EIA projects (DCO, DNS, Section 36, TCPA) within the renewable energy, transport, and property sectors.
Your activities include:
- Managing environmental inputs to project designs and assessments.
- Engaging with clients and sub-consultants.
- Preparing fee proposals and authoring environmental reports and EIA documentation.
- Ensuring environmental issues are central to development design.

Skills and Experience You’ll need:
- A relevant environmental degree-level qualification in EIA or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of EIA processes and UK legislation.
- Production of high quality environmental reports and EIA documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and manage project deliverables.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, financial control, and project management.
- Line management or oversight of junior team members.
- Experience in bid preparation, client management, and business development.
