About the Role

Are you an experienced EIA Project Director, seeking to further your impact on a range of complex and challenging projects as an Associate / Technical Director?  In this role, you will not only have accountability for larger projects but also manage operational teams, expertise, and be credited with project outcomes and client relationships.

Your capability will be instrumental in shaping transformative projects across the energy, water, transport, and property sectors at a world-leader in Environment and Sustainability consulting.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving growth within the DCO/EIA team, leveraging your extensive industry contacts and passion for thought leadership. You will be instrumental in advising clients, overseeing a range of projects, and collaborating with a national and global network to achieve a prosperous, low carbon, and more equitable future.

As an EIA subject matter expert, you will collaborate with client teams, stakeholders, regulators, and specialist colleagues, taking overall responsibility for the development, reporting, and best quality of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA’s).

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in business and project development. You will be adept at working with both public and private sector clients and stakeholders, bringing together ideas and resources to achieve common goals. Your ability to influence and inspire will be key in helping to win work and grow the business.

Essential Capabilities:

  • At least degree level qualified in a relevant subject with Full membership of an appropriate institute (eg IEMA / ISEP)
  • Directing EIA / DCO projects to ensure high-quality delivery on time and within budget, while managing client relationships.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing operational teams in the delivery of complex EIA’s across various sectors.
  • Leading business development efforts, meeting clients and collaborators, and managing bids, client submissions, and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
