About the Role

Are you a Principal Environmental Consultant ready to elevate your career, or an established Associate eager to make a significant impact on high-profile and nationally significant projects? This is your chance to join a market-leading consultancy that delivers transformative solutions across the energy, water, transport, and property sectors.

Our client is seeking an Associate for their Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team due to increased demand at project leadership and technical expert levels. This role offers a unique platform to contribute to large-scale projects and lead small to medium-sized teams and initiatives.

In this role, you will be involved from the earliest stages of programmes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design. You will lead the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and client expectations. Additionally, you will conduct environmental assessments and studies to identify potential impacts and develop mitigation measures. Building and maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients will be crucial to ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. You will also provide expert advice on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices, while taking responsibility for team deliverables, including time and quality, performance management, and supporting professional development.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Full membership to IEAM / ISEP, RTPI, or similar.
- A strong track record of professional experience in environmental consulting.
- Recognised expertise in delivering EIA / DCO’s as a technical expert.
- Experience in managing and delivering multiple complex EIA’s across various sectors.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
