Responsibilities:
- Project Management
Lead and oversee multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to gather necessary data. Develop and implement project plans, including scoping, data collection, impact assessment, and reporting. - Environmental Impact Assessment
Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential environmental and socio-economic impacts. Stay updated with relevant environmental regulations and best practices. Collaborate with colleagues to understand data related to air and water quality, biodiversity, land use, and more. - Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, NGOs, and project developers. Attend public consultations and workshops to gather input and address concerns. - Report Writing and Communication
Prepare comprehensive reports that clearly communicate assessment findings and recommended mitigation measures. Present findings to clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. - Technical Specialism
Enthusiastic to learn additional technical specialisms such as climate change, socio-economic assessments, ESG, digital EIA, AI, and Construction Environmental Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Ecology, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting and managing EIA across various projects and sectors.
- Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines related to EIA processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
