Core Activities:
- Conduct comprehensive carbon assessments and provide expert advice on decarbonisation strategies.
- Perform whole life carbon assessments for various infrastructure and energy projects.
- Undertake technical reviews of carbon modelling conducted by peers, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Offer informed advice on carbon management to both external clients and internal teams.
- Support business development activities, including preparing expressions of interest, proposals, and engaging in networking and client interactions.
- Develop and share your expertise in carbon and climate change, contributing to the growth and skill development of the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Carbon and/or Climate Change Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science.
- Professional Accreditation: Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or actively working towards it, is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in carbon assessment and modelling, with a strong understanding of mitigation strategies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK and/or devolved administration policies and regulatory frameworks related to carbon and climate change.
