Are you an experienced Environmental Consultant or established Senior Consultant eager to make a significant impact on some of the UK’s most complex and challenging projects?  

Our client is on multiple frameworks to deliver against major infrastructure programmes and offers an enviable platform for you to develop technical and project expertise across energy, water, transport, and property sectors.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will lead and contribute to projects that make a real difference. Collaborate with a diverse team of experts to deliver innovative solutions addressing pressing environmental challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success and sustainability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design. This includes supervising checking work produced by others.
  • EIA Coordination: Lead the preparation and coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
  • Environmental Assessments: Conduct studies to identify potential impacts and develop mitigation measures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Expert Advice: Provide guidance on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the implementation of environmental management plans and compliance with EIA conditions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Membership of IEMA or similar.
  • Professional experience in environmental consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of current policy and regulations affecting EIA and wider planning.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex EIA’s across various sectors.
