About the Role
NSIP Consenting Lead Are you an experienced Director or Associate Director looking to make a significant impact on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP’s)? Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their leadership team, focusing on the growth and diversification of their Development Consent Order (DCO), Development of National Significance (DNS) and Section 36 portfolio. - Strategic Leadership: Provide and influence direction and leadership to the NSIP offering.
- Business Development: Expand and diversify services, set strategic goals, and promote services to new and existing clients.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Financial Management: Ensure profitable performance through effective financial and cost controls.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership within the industry and represent across wider sector initiatives.
Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and enthusiastic, with a proven track record in delivering NSIP consents, to include:
- Extensive consultancy experience in navigating the consenting processes for NSIP’s.
- Proven success in winning frameworks and managing major projects.
- Strong business development and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and high financial acumen.
- Ability to inspire and lead colleagues at all levels.
- Positive reputation in the sector with a wide stakeholder base.
Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate degree in Planning, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant subject.
- Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body such as RTPI.
