Core Activities:
- Drive a holistic approach to design, ensuring positive environmental outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIA) for various projects.
- Manage the assessment process and coordinate technical teams.
- Review technical inputs and write detailed environmental reports, including EIA screening letters, scoping reports, and Environmental Statements.
- Support the review of topic reports/inputs for compliance with EIA Regulations and project specifics.
This position offers the chance to Engage with private developers, public sector authorities, and other organisations to drive environmental excellence.
Requisite Skills and Experience:
- Degree level qualification in a relevant subject.
- Chartered member (or working towards) of an appropriate Professional body, such as IEMA
- Current / previous experience in the energy and/or water sectors is desirable.
- Proven experience in undertaking EIA in the UK and familiarity with other UK regimes (e.g., DCO, hybrid Bill).
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability assessment tools (e.g., BREEAM) is advantageous.
