As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of renewable energy projects through the consenting phase, ensuring high-quality, well-designed sites. Your role will involve overseeing multidisciplinary technical studies, managing external contracts, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be a trusted advisor to project teams, facilitating excellent stakeholder engagement and maintaining effective communication across departments.
Your expertise in planning policies, environmental impact regulations, and the consenting process will be crucial. Hands-on experience with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for major projects, including Section 36 applications, is essential. Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in the renewable energy sector will set you apart. Progress towards or holding a professional qualification (e.g., MRTPI, MIEMA) is advantageous.
